Use devices with permission
Use Tethlink only on devices and networks you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for the files you transfer, apps you install, commands you send, and recordings you create. Obtain any permission required to capture another person's screen, content, or audio. Do not use the app to bypass security, access someone else's device, infringe rights, or violate law.
Enabling debugging grants powerful access. Pair only trusted devices, protect your local network, and disable debugging or revoke pairing when no longer needed. Check the destination before uninstalling apps, replacing files, or sending commands.
Compatibility and reliability
Features depend on your devices, Android versions, network, permissions, installed players, and content protections. Compatibility, uninterrupted operation, recovery of every recording frame, or a particular streaming latency is not guaranteed. Keep backups of important files. Protected content may not be captured. Tethlink is not affiliated with Google, Android device makers, or the apps you manage.
Ads and Ad-free
The free app includes advertising. Ad-free is an optional subscription whose only added benefit is removing in-app ads during an active entitlement. Device features remain available in the ad-supported app. An Ad-free subscription does not remove advertising within content or third-party apps on the connected device.
Google Play displays the applicable localized price, billing period, taxes, and any trial before you confirm. Weekly, monthly, or annual options may be offered. Trials are available only to eligible accounts and are not guaranteed for every plan or returning subscriber. If you accept a trial, the selected paid subscription begins automatically at its end unless you cancel before it ends.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Manage or cancel through Google Play subscriptions. Uninstalling Tethlink does not cancel. Cancellation generally stops the next renewal; access continues for the period determined by Google Play. Refunds and statutory rights follow applicable law and Google Play's refund rules. Restore purchases using the purchasing Google account if access is missing.
Your content and our software
You retain rights to your content. Tethlink receives only the permission needed to process it for your requested device operation. We grant you a limited right to use the app; ownership of the app and branding remains with their respective owners. Third-party open-source components retain their own licenses.
Availability and responsibility
We may update or discontinue features for technical, security, or legal reasons. We may restrict abusive use. To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available without additional warranties and we are not responsible for indirect losses or failures outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Privacy and changes
Our Privacy policy explains data handling and choices. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised date; material changes will receive an appropriate notice. Your mandatory local consumer protections continue to apply.
