A few connection checks solve most problems.

Connect a device

1. Put both devices on a trusted network without client isolation.
2. On the target, enable Developer options and Wireless debugging. Some TVs instead offer network ADB through a debugging switch.
3. Choose Pair with code in Tethlink. Open Pair device with pairing code on the target and enter its pairing details. You can also display a QR code in Tethlink for the target to scan.
4. Connect to the discovered device. If entering an address, use the connection port from the main Wireless debugging screen, not its temporary pairing port.

USB debugging alone does not always open network port 5555. Pairing codes and wireless ports can change. Android devices can behave differently; never expose debugging ports to the public internet.

A transfer or recording stopped

Check the connection, free storage, and Android battery restrictions. Open Transfers to review interrupted work. Open Captures to recover a recording journal when available. Recovery preserves received data that reached durable storage; it cannot reconstruct missing frames. Grant notification permission to keep activity controls easy to reach.

Manage Ad-free

Use Restore purchases in the app with the Google account that purchased the subscription. Use Google Play to manage or cancel billing. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Ad privacy and data

Open the app's ad privacy options to review available choices. Read our Privacy policy or delete-data instructions.
